AI is trump’s second life threatening pandemic. He called covid a hoax and tried to ignore it. He know’s he’s not going to live forever and doesn’t care if humanity dies at the same time he does. He’d prefer it…. This is a race that we must win. The first step to save humanity is to replace MAGA Congress members and trump. Everyone must VOTE.

Important subject! The new Netflix AI documentary "Apocaloptimist" is a must-see for all. After showing us the possible horrors and delights of a supercharged AI future, the film ends with an exhortation that the future belongs to US ALL - and that we must be loud and constant in telling our governments and our business leaders what we will and won't tolerate.
Your job, Senator, is to listen to your constituents and speak for us. I applaud your efforts.

I’m wondering the real reason that the people who control the technology (and are working like mad to be the biggest first) are being so public about this? And so doom? What are they after? Remember, these are some of the most manipulative, narcissistic, egotistical people on the planet …
Or, could it be, that AI companies are realizing that their product is not meeting expectations as rapidly as they had predicted, and they are looking for a way to salvage their position as market darlings? Because, if the government slows them down, then it’s not their fault. We may lurk on the edge of another.com bubble.
Could not agree with you more! I think this needs to move front and center, along with voting rights and official corruption, as the Democratic battle cry in the next weeks. Even low information voters can understand extinction.
But who is to speak out, forcefully and to draw attention? Not the geriatric Senate leadership. We need 21st century leaders -- you, kelly, ossoff,... Are they laying out the platform for next January when the new, Democratic majority Congress convenes? Will it be ready to call for, and legislate for, today's world, and for the future?
