Merrill - And for everyone to remember that we need Five seats in the Senate - not four - because we cannot count on Fetterman. He already accidentally admitted that he is really a Republican. I volunteer for Sherrod Brown’s campaign in Ohio. He has always been for the people. Thank you for doing what you can for your senator in your state. :)

I have done this already and also encourage others to do the same.

With all the misinformation, the distortions, the lies and the silence from the regime, it's refreshing to hear first hand from someone who is open minded and is willing to listen and learn.

Thank you for your hard working!

TY for your work and sharing these important details. All Americans need to hear this! I truly fear our nation’s ability to sustain its democratic ideologies through the constant authoritarian damage of the Trump regime and if we can get thru two more years. This piece gives me hope. When D’s regain Congressional power in November I sure hope you’ll stand unified in ending Trump’s lawless executive power and corruption.

Thank you Senator Murphy for providing a detailed report on your trip to the Mideast. Not one major news outlet is reporting with the depth of knowledge and understanding you bring to us. We are very grateful.

A lot of good information here. One thing that I sincerely hope that Democrats are up to the task on when they take back power is to be up front and VOCAL about why oil/gas prices may be high for the foreseeable future. Otherwise we get stuck in this same cycle of cleaning things up after Republicans but never explaining how and why it takes time, only to then get blamed for it. We need a Mamdani type messaging machine on how things actually work for the American public. I hope you will work with others to be out front on this for mass communications efforts

Thank you Senator for visiting the Persian Gulf and clearly reporting on the effects of the war. You have been a clarion voice on the missteps and corruption of the current administration.

I fear it will take more than a generation to right our ship.

And now, from the New York Times:

“The video of a wheelchair-bound Hasan executed by firing squad will serve as ready-made propaganda for jihadist groups like Al Qaeda and Islamic State. How does this benefit the United States?

The SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks jihadist propaganda and messaging, found posts indicating that extremists were already using the pending execution to encourage other radicals.

“The crusaders wish to execute the brother publicly,” one message read. “Have they not learned anything from the pages of history?”

Thank you for going and writing this report of your observations. Why isn't every Senator somewhere in the mid-East or Ukraine trying to find out what is actually happening and attempting to change the disastrous course we are on? The fact you were denied entry to our bases and our service people is despicable and unacceptable. Thank you for trying.

Thank you for trying to see for yourself the damage done to our military personnel, the bases and the equipment - but the fact that they (Hegseth and company) continue to hide the true destruction is very telling. While I am sure that you are busy could you please pass on the outrage that people are feeling about not only this war (it’s not small potatoes when you lose people) but that the idiot occupying the Oval Office just made a deal with Russia. He is blatantly ignoring the own law that he just signed about Russia and the sanctions. Tells you what he really thought about his “friend” Lindsey Graham. Ukraine is doing everything they can to survive the invasion by Russia and the recent oil deal with Russia is the opposite of helping Ukraine. Every day that goes by just proves how much Putin owns him. He wouldn’t need to get diesel/oil from Russia if he didn’t start a war with Iran. What happened to the oil/money he’s stolen from Venezuela? T has caused this crisis around the world, he owns it, and we are tired of how he has imaginary love affairs with dictators while ruining our relationship with our allies. People are dying every single day because of this administration. From people in our own streets from our own federal government to people in other countries. When does the human cost become too much? Is the money that they are raking in from military contractors and companies to continue these wars really worth it?
